Remmette Davis (Crissie Remmette Davis) - Radio personality, piano, violin and arts performer Stairway to Stardom Sunday evenings CKWX 1947-early 1950s and CJOR Vancouver early 1950s-58. The program introduced young pianists to radio, competing for annual trophies and scholarships, presented by such personages as opera star Lily Pons, VSO conductor Jacques Singer and pianists Benno Moiseiwitsch and William Kapell.  Died in North Vancouver March 16, 1973 at age 68.
